We process the following (categories of) personal data

We process data to be able to perform our contract with you:

Name. We collect the given names (first name, family name) of customers, job-applicants, and of contacts when they express interest in our services or sign up for our newsletter.
Email address. We collect the email address of customers, job-applicants, and of contacts when they express interest in our services or when they sign up for our newsletter.
Postal address. We collect the postal address of customers for billing purposes.
Telephone number. We collect the phone numbers of customers, job-applicants, and of contacts when they express interest in our services or when they sign up for our newsletter.

Third-parties process data on our behalf on for their own goals for the purposes of storage and access of information, personalisation, and ad selection, delivery and reporting, and measurement.

What (purposes) do we use the data for

Storage and access of information. The storage of information, or access to information that is already stored, on your device such as accessing advertising identifiers and/or other device identifiers, and/or using cookies or similar technologies.

Personalisation. The collection and processing of information about your use of this site to subsequently personalize advertising for you in other contexts, i.e. on other sites or apps, over time. Typically, the content of the site or app is used to make inferences about your interests which inform future selections.

Ad selection, delivery, reporting. The collection of information, and combination with previously collected information, to select and deliver advertisements for you, and to measure the delivery and effectiveness of such advertisements. This includes using previously collected information about your interests to select ads, processing data about what advertisements were shown, how often they were shown, when and where they were shown, and whether you took any action related to the advertisement, including for example clicking an ad or making a purchase.

Measurement. The collection of information about your use of the content, and combination with previously collected information, used to measure, understand, and report on your usage of the content.

What is our legal basis for the processing

We base our processing on consent of the data subject for the purposes of storage and access of information, personalisation, and ad selection, delivery and reporting. We base our processing on legitimate interest for measurement. This legitimate interest is our interest in being able to ascertain how well our website functions and to see how visitors engage with the structure and content of our website. We base our processing of customer data on in being required for the performance of a contract.

How long and where do we store data

We store customer information for as long as we have a customer relation with you, and a limited set of data for up to 7 years thereafter to meet our tax administration obligations.

What safeguards have we taken to protect data

Taking into account the nature, scope, context and purpose of the processing, we have taken the following technical and organizational measures:

Access control. Our database, and the information contained therein, is protected with access control.

Limited staff only. Access to the database is limited, not all staff in our organisation have full access.

Encryption. Data submitted via our website is encrypted in transit.

We do not actively monitor the security of our database and need to rely on our processors to notify us of any data breaches.

Who we share data with

We do not actively share data that we collect with any third-parties, but we do allow third-parties to collect data from you when you visit our website. The full list is available under Privacy Settings tab.

We also engage Amazon Inc. as a processor acting on our behalf. We require these companies to adequately safeguard your personal data and not use your data for any other purpose not authorized by us.

We might sell (part of) our business to another company. Such transfer of ownership could include the transfer of your personal data to the buyer if the data directly relates to that (part of the) business.

Transfer of your personal data

You should also know that your personal data may be transferred from your home country to third parties. If you are an EU resident, this could imply that we also transfer data to countries that do not offer an adequate level of protection for your personal data. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from anyone under 16 (‘Children‘).
